Ehomie is a one-stop housing platform dedicated to international students and overseas Chinese communities. Founded in 2016, Ehomie is headquartered in Manhattan, New York, with additional offices in Beijing, Boston, and Chicago.
Our mission is to make renting abroad easier, safer, and more transparent by connecting renters with verified housing and trusted property partners.
Our Story
Ehomie was founded by a group of young entrepreneurs who studied abroad themselves.
Having experienced the challenges of renting in a foreign country—including fake listings, expensive brokerage fees, language barriers, and the difficulty of viewing properties before arrival—we set out to build a platform that provides transparent, efficient, and free rental services for international students.
Today, Ehomie continues to help students and young professionals find housing with confidence before and after arriving overseas.
